What happens when you click one: the link goes to an address on this domain beginning /go/, which checks the destination against a list of sites this guide is allowed to send you to and then forwards you to the operator’s own page. It is a plain redirect. It sends the operator nothing about you — not your name, not your address, not what you typed, not where you came from, not who you are — because it never reads any of that in the first place. If the operator then takes a booking, they pay this site a commission out of their own margin. Your price is the operator’s price either way.
What commission does not buy: a place on this site, a higher place on any page, a mention, or a kinder description. No operator pays to be listed, there is no advertising slot, there is no sponsored tier, and the order the cards appear in is stated in full on the ranking page and has no commercial input in it anywhere. A walk that earns nothing sits above a walk that earns something whenever the stated rules put it there.
What this site never does: it does not take a booking, hold a place, take a payment, take a deposit, confirm a departure or put one price on two different services.
